Is your husband/SO a procrastinator?

Question

I'm 28 and I've been knowing my husband  12 years. (We 4 kids ages 9, 5, 1 and 5 months We just got married 9/5/2014 but it's seems like every since we got married he has been big on procrastinating. Like he's always waiting til the last minute to do things and me on the other hand I like to have stuff planned out and I do stuff ahead of time. I can ask him to pack the baby's diaper bag and guess what he waits till it's almost time to leave to run around the house to get things for the diaper bag. If we have to be somewhere at a scheduled time; his "procrastination" makes us late. This is the biggest problem we have argued about. And it seems like me complaining about it doesn't do nothing it just goes through one ear and out the other. I need some advice on what I can do to help his procrastinating ways. And if you've experienced this with your mate comment.

My husband is the same 😑 I can tell him to do stuff for ages and he says he will then he won't, and usually I just end up doing it myself because I'm tired of talking 🙄 been talking for 6 bloody years. So annoying 😡

We have to be somewhere at 2 this afternoon, so I told my husband we have to be there at 1:30 and I can guarantee we'll get there right at 2.

We are in the process of remodeling our bathroom, and instead of being in there doing something, he is currently sitting on our couch playing with a string! It's terrible!!!

I always have to remind myself SO what needs to be done even if I just asked him 5 mins before.  I feel like the household manager. I told him to start getting shit done without reminders. He is slowly getting better.

On small trips I'd tell him were leaving a few mins before we actually are. Or if you asked him to do something n he hasn't I'd do it then wait until he either notices or until I have to ask him to do and let him find it then tell him about himself.

My SO is the worst procrastinator. For example, he'll be leaving the country for 2 weeks & he won't pack his stuff until he's late for his flight. I'll be ready 3 days in advance. He misses flights all the time and is always super late. There's nothing I can do about it.

Nah it's the opposite. Not as bad but my SO is really into planning things really far in advance and I kinda go with the flow but it's so much of a difference that it causes problems.
