Meat in the fridge

My fiancé will open a package of meat, say it's a package of 3 steaks... He'll take one out, leave the rest in the fridge just all open. I keep telling him that's so unhealthy to leave it like that. And it's for days! He does it with ground turkey too lol. I'm pregnant so I will not eat anything he makes, especially if it's meat. Do boys not have any common sense? Spoiled meat is a thing people
