To what extent?

If your interpretation of the word 'work' is limited to physical labour then yes,  higher earning jobs tend to involve less physical labour than lower paid jobs (with some exceptions like particular roles in the oil and gas industry which are well paid but also physical in nature).  Not all 'work' is physical labour though, a lot of well paid people work very hard and very long hours to earn their pay doing things other than manual labour.

No. Not at all. My brother in law makes a very good salary (he manages 40+ people, part of the business just purchased by IBM & he gets bonuses, paid vacations to DR, Mexico etc). He is always working. His phone is always going off. He is required to answer when his boss calls him.

No, because doctors make crazy money, but they work crazy hours and it's hard work too!!!

The more higher up the corporate ladder you are  the more you can delegate your work to subordinates ..you still have to work just that someone else does the grunt work for you.

What I do agree with is that ,the rich get richer :((
