Selling your eggs?

Question

This pregnancy has really put us in a bind. This is our rainbow baby and my husband makes 35a year. I only work part time so I can be home doing dinner and being with our 6 year old. I need weekly injections of projestrone, 180$ and 3 refills... and I have to have 3 wisdom teeth pulled. 320$. On top of my Dr visits that are 380$ and the anatomy visit 130$. 
 We rent a duplex and are looking for something cheaper and at least we own our old crappy cars. Insurance has covered all it can  so things are so tight. 
 I was think about selling my eggs, I saw something shouting paddingva tv in a hospital or something. I would of course have to wait till after this pregnancy but maybe it would help get us out of the hole after. I hear you can make 5-15,000$...
  Anyway. Just wanted some thoughts and opinions.

I wouldn't feel comfortable with my biological children being raised by anyone else but me and never being able to meet them or not knowing how many children of mine were in the world and if they were happy or safe would drive me crazy. But I really respect and admire those that are able to give such a gift to others. Just make sure you understand the emotional and physical toll it may take, there's a reason you get paid so much

I wouldnt unless I was absolutely done having kids because of the risks involved. It can make getting pregnant in the future difficult or near impossible.

I agree with other responses, if can make it very hard to have any other child after you do donate eggs, so I would make sure for certain that I was done having my own kids before doing that. Even then so there is alot of things you have to do with that... they make you get shots, hormones, no sex, for months... it's alot harder and a longer process than just going in and them getting them out. 
My advice would be to actually do alot of research before deciding to do this. It's a complicated process and they might not even want or get any successfully

I would do it after I have 2-3 kids but it's so weird to think there are kids out there that have your DNA but you don't care for

I would do it, I'm never every having kids of my own so why not help someone who can't have kids

I wouldn't do it but I don't think, "Never! How could you??" Accurately illustrates how I feel about it.
I couldn't handle the idea of my own biological children running around this Earth never to have known their biological mother's womb, smell or embrace- it just feels wrong, like maybe there would be serious concequences for something so unnatural.
If you feel comfortable doing it, then go for it. But make sure you totally understand the procedure and affects afterwards and maybe even talk to others who have gone through it.
Another option is surrogacy, you can be paid to carry someone else's child to term though that may be hard considering this pregnancy is already hard on your body (it sounds like). But I do know that surrogate mothers can make up to $50,000 per pregnancy!

I always thought about doing it for the money. Then I watched a few things & saw how painful the process is. I just thought it would be as easy as guys jacking off & jizzing... But no, you have to go through all of these treatments & injections... Then surgery to get the eggs out. Ouch

I think something like that should be done out of the kindness of your heart, not for how much money you can get.
