The Spectra S2 is a hospital grade, closed system pump.. by far the best choice of your options.  The Medela is far better known & covered by more insurance companies.  In my opinion, in polls it tends to 'rank' higher only because people are more familiar with it.  Everyone I've encountered that has tried both, vastly prefers the spectra

I have the modela pump in style, it comes with 3 bag options. I really recommend the tote bag. It looks really nice and is easy and fast to set up. I hear the backpack is nice too but I have a backpack diaper bag and am a student so use another backpack for that as well. The reviews on Amazon have a lot of complaints about the metro and I'm glad I did not get it. There is extra space in the pump in style tote.
