Restless legs?? Anyone?

Restless leg syndrome...I heard it can happen during pregnancy but I never had a big issue with it with my first. Any ideas for what to help with it or do I just call my doctor?

I drink a dissolvable orange magnesium drink 30 minutes before bedtime. It helps relax the muscles. That with a banana works a treat 😴😴😴

Calcium and potassium (bananas and milk) helped me. I was getting cramps and twitches like crazy but now I have two bananas and a glass of milk a day and it has died down a lot. I suffer with sciatica (from a pre-pregnancy injury), I am sure it will come back as I get bigger but for now the potassium and calcium have helped!

Yes! It's so bad. I will pace the floors. If I soak my feet in hot soapy water for about 5 to 10 minutes and that has helped a little.

Yes! Mine acts up with every change in my hormones...starting a new birth control pack was rough! It's been on and off during pregnancy, every few days. I find that stretching and massaging help, as well as keeping active.

I've been slightly more mindful of sugar intake and it hasn't bugged me for a couple of days.

As much as it sucks to hear-exercise. Even just a short walk each day helps.

When your leg cramps up bad, straighten it out or stand on it. Sounds crazy but instantly relieves the pain.

I take calcium/magnesium liquid supplement. I find it does make me a little constipated if I take to much but it helps my legs soooo much!
