Is 19 to young to start trying for a baby?

My partner said to me he wants a baby and I really want to have one too I'm just worried that my family and his family won't support our decision same with friends etc (my partner is 21 and we've been together for a few years now recently got engaged about 4mths ago) Just wanting people's opinions and advice really.

Oh gosh. Have fun! Travel, have sex, go on dates, lounge around your house, ect... Do not rush into having a baby! My husband and I were married for five yrs before we had one and man does it change everything. All the above is the things I miss. Sex is even so hard to do hahaha do not  just jump into this. Think about it and plan first. :) good luck!

My suggestion would be to just wait til you get married. In my opinion that makes everything easier. From then on if it's your choice. everyone else doesn't have to like it, they just have to respect your decision.

That's honestly your decision. But if you guys are engaged and planing to get married id say enjoy your marriage first and then maybe within 2 years plan to conceive. Plus you will get to celebrate you 21st before baby gets here

I've just turned 20 a few months ago and although my pregnancy was unplanned,I was wondering the same as you,am I too young? But so many young women are mothers. I also thought my family and friends may not support me or be happy when I told them but it was the complete opposite! They are so happy for me. I think that if you and your partner really want a child you should Just go for it and not worry about what other people think,it's your life and your decision!

I don't think 19 is too young, if you are in a loving relationship and have your ducks in a row financially, why not?

But what I stumble on is that you need to ask strangers...for me that kind of feels you are not yet ready and go with whatever is the outcome of this poll. 
Hope that is not the case, and you truly feel ready, as once it's done, they are there to stay!

Married my hubby at 18 and have been trying ever since. It's your life and you do what's right. So many people told me I was young but with my fertility issues right now is the best time and I'm 20 now.
