When to tell...???

Hi all! I'm 4 weeks and 5 days!! This is mine and my husbands first and we are over the moon! I was wondering when everyone was planning on telling their job. I want to make sure they have enough notice since I work in payroll and December is a very busy time of year!!

I'm waiting as long as possible. I had a MC last year and it was really ackward cause everyone knew. A couple coworkers avoided me after (cause they didn't know what to say) and some didn't hear the news and that was even more ackward when they asked about the baby. First trimester when I was having morning sickness I was paranoid about getting sick or people finding out at work, but no one really noticed (except the people I would have told anyhow).

I too told my boss right when I found out just in case something happened to me (fainting, throwing up etc) while at work. Plus I wanted to give him ample time to prepare for my maternity leave

I was going to wait until end of first trimester maybe a little sooner. Unless I start getting symptoms that will mess with my work. No nausea yet and exhaustion only hits me at night as of now. My coworker who I share an office with just had a miscarriage so I also want to give it a little time before letting her know.
