They are an Intramuscular shot. They don't feel good, but they should help you not feel worse later.

Make sure you rotate your sites everyday. Don't keep using the same spot otherwise you develope scar tissue in that area.

I had to do them twice a day up until 10 weeks. Definitely not fun , keep switching sides and apply heat after like a heating pad & massage the area or you'll get annoying lumps :-(

I do the p17 injections for preterm labor once a week. I am an ivf patient so I had to have my husband do pio injections from before transfer to 11 weeks twice a day. The p17 once a week hurt me a lot.

I start this week. I've done them daily in the past with a suragacy but with this pregnancy they are weekly. I'll be doing them at home. You don't even feel it after the first few 😀
