I work in Homecare and my job requires me to lift, strain, and work tirelessly for my patients. Now that I'm almost in my third trimester and at risk for preterm labor due to my incompetent cervix, it's not easy and I've had to cut down on my hours to ensure the safety of myself and my baby. Now that my checks are so small, I don't have enough funds to take care of both of us and my so isn't helping me. He gives money to his grandma or friends that are in need but when I ask I get "oh you're pulling that card again huh"? I even tried applying for public assistance and they havent helped me either. My application has been pending since December. I even went into the office again today today and they still haven't given me any help. What else can I do when I'm constantly asking for help and not receiving it?
