Postpartum headaches?

Is it just me or has anyone else had horrible headaches in the weeks after giving birth? I had a c section 3+wks ago and he past few days I've had awful headaches- like throbbing on my temples. Been taking Motrin 600 but would rather not take any pain pills. Anyone else? If it doesn't get better in a few days I will go to dr....

Yes! I seem to get headaches mostly in my left temple that sometimes radiates to my forehead. .. it seems to linger all day :(

I was having terrible headaches too, I was getting them from breast feeding, looking down and holding my baby and from falling asleep while feeding and having my head lolling forward. I made an appointment with a massage therapist, I told her the issue and she understood. She did some stuff to release my shoulders and neck and I feel so much better. Now I also stretch my chest and shoulders after every feeding and I haven't had any headaches since. if they started more than a week after the epidural they probably aren't from that, but if they persist you should see your doctor.

I've had a constant headache as well. For me, I'm pretty sure it's a combo of sleep deprivation and nursing/looking down at DS all the time. :/ he's just too darn cute!

Probably from the epidural. I had them for a few days too.

I am 2 1/2 weeks pp. vaginal delivery with epidural and I've been getting some pretty bad tension headaches. I go into the doc tomorrow for a pp visit and am going to ask about it. It's not everyday but i get them most days. Hope if goes away soon!!

I've been getting headaches also, I'm almost 3 weeks post c section. I think it's a combination of straining with breastfeeding and sleep deprivation

Me too. I'm 10 days PP. I vbac 'd this birth but posture nursing, lack of uninterrupted sleep, dehydration ect all lead to these nasty headaches. They'll eventually go away!

I've had these headaches when I was 4 days pp. they eventually dissapeared.
