How are you going to/did you tell your partner you're expecting?

Ever since I've had babies on the brain I have dreamed of telling my husband that I'm pregnant by giving him a gift, having him open it and it be a little tiny pair of baby shoes. I have no idea where I got the idea but I just think it'll be so cute and it may make him get teary. How are you going to/ did you  tell your partner you're expecting?

First time I bought him a baby Pittsburgh Pirates jersey with our name on the back

Second time, we were planning on going on a bike ride so I borrowed my friends kids tricycle and had it out with the bikes for when he came home from work.

Unfortunately they both ended in miscarriages :( But I'm hoping to do a scavenger hunt the next time!

We told our parents by giving them baby booties for Christmas.

I had all sorts of cute ways in mind but he walked in the door as soon as the positive came up and I was just like uhmm... Come look at this!

I bought my ex an "I Love my daddy" bib because it was all I could find. I presented it as a gift. I will do that again if we get lucky. My now bf thinks he is infertile and hasn't been checked.

I always wanted to do something cute, but when the time came I was too excited and just blurted it out when he woke up or called him at work to tell him lol

I don't think I could or would take the test without my SO there anyway. I'd not want him to miss out on the excitement 😊
