Age 16/24

So I have made a post about this before but I feel like I didn't explain my self well. I am 16 a sophomore in highschool. I have been talking to a guy that is 24, we both like Eachother and care about one another. He's in law school he will be a lawyer in less than a year. We have throughly talked about our future together and talked about that we wouldn't have a sexual relationship until I was 18. I really do like him, he said and has promised me He would wait on me until I'm 18 until we can be an item. What is everyone's thoughts about this? If you have any questions feel free to just ask
