VBAC anyone??

Question

Wondering if anyone has had a successful VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean)? Or a not so successful VBAC but attempted one? I'd love to hear your story as well as any advice you may have! I am hoping to try for a VBAC with my second in September! My first was born December 2014. Labor went very smoothly and quickly, dilated fully, pushed and pushed but baby boy was too big so we ended up doing a csection. Hoping this one fits and I can push her out! (:

I had a successful VBAC Feb 28. 2016 Went in for rib pain. Thought she broke it. They hooked me up to monitors n I was having contractions n was a 6. They let my body do its work. My water didn't break but was bulging. They broke it n on came contractions. Had a tiny tear down there. My c section was from my son being breech. The birth before the c section was vaginal.

I had a vbac in Feb 2014. It was 14.5 months after my c section. My labor was long but everything went well and there were no complications. It was a great experience. I'm due with baby #3 on Monday and planning another vbac whenever she decides to make her appearance.

I had a successful VBAC with my son on 1/20/16! I had to have an emergency c-section with my daughter because she was breech.

I had to be induced with my son because I was dilating, so the doc put a foley Cather bulb in my cervix to help dilate and started me on pitocin. I am so glad I was able and I did it naturally like I wanted even though I did ask for epidural!

My first son was born Nov. 2011 a month early. I had to have an emergency C-Section due to HELLP syndrome and Preeclampsia. When I got pregnant the second time I tried to have a VBAC. They induced me and one of the doctors kept pushing me to do the c-section but I didn't give in. Thankfully the nurse was very supportive of my decision. I was in labor all night and only dilated to 4 😔 so I had no other option but to have a c-section. In your case I believe you have a good shot of having a VBAC just make sure you find a doctor that is supportive and doesn't try to push you in to having one just because it may be easier for them. My sister attempted VBAC 3 years after her first born, which was a scheduled c-section because her doc determined her baby was too big to fit. She felt really robbed of the whole laboring experience for her first and wished she had at least the chance to labor and push, so she was determined to try for her second. She ended up having a uterine rupture (very very rare!!) and needing an emergency c-section. We think the problem was that the nurse had her pushing at what she was told was 10 cm and fully effaced and ready, but turns out she wasn't! She was only 8-9cm and not even fully effaced. When he doc came in, it was determined she wasn't ready to push, but had been for about 15 minutes. No way to know if that's what caused the rupture or not, but either way- she was glad to have tried. And thankful that her very experienced doc got that baby out in 6 minutes from signs of deepm distress. My nephew was just chillin in her abdominal cavity-- an absolute miracle that both he and my sister survived!
