It's different for everyone. A lot of women experience hair loss after baby bc during baby they stopped shedding their hair and now that the hormones are regulation you lose the thickness you gained. Has nothing to do with baby gender and it's rare that you have thinner hair then you did prior to pregnancy. If you love your thicker hair you can use the Nixon line of shampoo and conditioners to help keep your hair thicker.

It wasn't exactly "all" for me. I didn't really shed any hair while pregnant. 3 months pp it's like it all caught up. When it stopped, my hair was the same thickness as pre-pregnancy.

My hairstylist recommended for me to continue using my prenatal vitamins once I have this baby since it was such a dramatic loss for me after my first was born.
