Anyone else when it comes to their prenatal visits  gets annoyed because you wait 4 long wks, drive a hour away in traffic, then get to the doctor office wait almost a 1 or 2hrs to finally get in the room to be in there for 5mins 🙄😒😑😡

Yes, I'd be annoyed. Prenatal visits (especially early ones) are typically fast, but making a pregnant woman wait that long isn't acceptable (really, making any patient wait an hour for a scheduled appt is wrong). They should also not rush you out - you need time to ask questions, etc.

However, fyi, there's some scientific evidence that the energy from the dopplers can heat tissues and possibly impact cell growth. It's a low risk, but once the heartbeat is found and established, it's better not to use it too long.

Lol yup! My FTM friends always ask what to expect for this appt, or that one and I always say "expect to wait only for her to come in say hello ask your your day is and shake your hand!"

Omg yes. I take whole days off working to go to any doctors appointments. One day I had a chiropractor appointment, a vet appointment for my dog and a prenatal appointment. I felt guilty that that was all I got done. But they were all at different times and in different towns so it took all effing day. ...I do live in a more rural area so that doesn't help.

This is exactly how I feel! Wait 4 weeks. literally a hour drive, hour and a half wait, pee in a cup, sit in the room waiting for doctor for another 15 minutes, then get not 10 minutes for my ultrasound. Feels like such a waste of time I swear.
