Do you judge people for not breastfeeding?

Why judge them? They are mom. Not you. It's a personal decision. I really don't understand why any mom is being judged for how their baby is being fed. They are eating, healthy, happy. That's all that should matter.

To a point.  I has friend who didn't even try.  Those are the ones I judge. I see it as extremely selfish for a woman to put her baby right in the bottle.  Yes breast feeling hinders your life after baby, you can't get right back to your pre baby habits. But your baby need the best start. Breast milk is that start.  I also don't  see why you would waste all the money that goes into bottle feeding when you have a free bonding feeding source right on you!! I know moms as well that didnt try nursing and then complained about how expensive it was to feed her child.  If you can't nurse totally different story.  I try not to judge those I don't know, but when I see a new born being feed on a bottle in hospital pics, it's hard not too..   Like mama always said you have to give things a try. Just a try!!

I don't because you never really know their story it could be that they really wanted to but were unable or Ill advicesed by their care provider; however, if I were judged for nursing (extended) it would be kind of shitty specially if it comes from people that didn't or don't know the real facts. So I find it best to give the benefit of the doubt. We are in this together after all and sometime what advice is given can be one sided or not the whole truth.

I don't really like how after I explained why I would.  (For the record more then I voted yes but I was the only one to explain like asked by the author of the post). Then all you guys jump on defending your "no" and I feel like bashing me at the same time.  Not in a super rude way but the author of the post did not ask you guys to explain why you don't.   This whole post has made me feel really attaced :(

I'm pregnant with my first an people judged me hard when I said I was unsure if I should breast feed. It kinda makes me nervous an I don't know why. Like I've never been shy with my body but if I'm out in public I can't see myself being able to do it. I will try in the comforts of my own home, but then I'm told if I give the baby a bottle while I'm out it won't breast feed? So idk what I should but people can be so mean about like idc bout my kid cause idk if I can breast feed?

Why would you judge someone for that? Would you judge people for what clothes they put there baby in? Or what bed time they go down for? 
My best friend is pregnant with her 3rd and hasn't breastfed any of her babies cos it wasn't normal for her, 
I did breastfeed my baby and will with my next because I know how good it is, but I got judged cos I only did it for 4 weeks, everyone will always have an opinion about what your doing wrong with babies,  they are fed healthy and happy that's the main thing isn't it?

No one should be judged unless you know the reasons why they won't/can't breastfeed. I know one lady at our school who was so poorly when she gave birth she physically couldn't breastfeed and her milk dried up and went that's not her fault. But another lady at the school who didn't want too as she didn't want her baby "attached" to her all the time and said she could sleep while her husband got up each night to do a bottle, she's someone I would judge, she's to selfish to have a baby!
