What should a FTM expect? I know to expect the huge pads. How much flow are we talking here? Like, how often do you have to change them during your hospital stay? When does it slow down after going home? What clothing do you wear in the meantime to be comfortable and secure while not drawing attention to the enormous pad (or adult diaper)? Trying to wrap my head around all this since I haven't worn pads in probably 15 years! I'm probably overthinking it, but I imagine not being able to get up from my hospital bed to use the bathroom while guests are there because there will be a pool of blood beneath me. Or not being able to leave the couch with company around because I will have an obviously ginormous pad or I will have a huge leak staining whatever I have on. Managing the massive blood loss without embarrassing leaks is probably causing me more anxiety than delivery pain right now! Silly, I know. But not knowing what to expect makes my imagination run wild. Help!
