How did you react to your proposal?

Question

I turned around back to him as he asked me to marry him and I kicked him all silly !! Haha I couldn't believe I did that not what I expected lol!! Lots of hugs and kisses followed.

We always joked 'omg marry me' about various things. One night we had left an afterparty and were sitting in my car looking at the stars. He looked at me and in a very sincere tone said "Marry me?  I want to marry you."

My exact words "Don't fuck with me. This isn't funny, Martin. Get out of my car. We're going inside."

He looked at me with the saddest eyes 
"I'm not kidding. I've known since that night on the hammock. But I didn't want to scare you off. And I don't want to make it a big deal about it, and I don't have a ring. But I have myself. And I love you more than I ever thought was possible but I was too scared to ask you. That's why I kept drinking tonight. I was terrified I was about to scare away my soulmate. I'm serious. Will you marry me?"

"...Oh. If we are being serious then my answer is yes. But I swear to god if you hurt me, I will end you... And you have to ask sober."

"Then he got out of my car and puked. 🙄 he asked me every single day for the next month in various cute little ways. We have since left the party scene and really got our life together.

he took me to one of our favorite waterfalls while I was looking at it he bent down behind me and when I turned around and said what do you want. haha he said um I want you to marry me. haha I said well duh. then we laughed the whole way home.

I said "NOOO!!!!!" (As in no way! Are you serious!?) I saw he looked worried and I started screaming yes!

My words 'are u taking the piss' and started laughing (as I was leaving the house for work he could of better timed it ) and i let him put the ring on but still never answered him haha so still to this day after 5months of being engaged Iv still not said yes 😂😂😂

I started laughing at him. He asked if I was sure I wanted to spend my life with him, I said yes, and he tossed the ring box in my lap. We had talked about it, we picked out the ring together, I knew he had it (we were in the middle of packing and moving), and I knew when he asked me to go to the lake in our new town with him that he was going to ask.
