ex issues

so my ex broke up with me a few weeks ago for another girl and this weekend he randomly snapchatted me with a photo of a video game he knows I like and I was like wtf so I just ignored it and then he messaged me again and said "when will I be able to talk to you again?" And I ignored him again because I told him that I didn't want to be friends because I knew I'd grow bigger feelings and that would suck since I couldn't have him. So, on Sunday he posted on his snapchat a photo of the cough drops I got him for Valentine's Day (he was sick and it was a joke) and he said on it "I still appreciate you ❤️🗝" and I'm beyond confused at this point because he won't drop it and idk if he is having problems with the girl (who lives like 3 hours away) and is trying to get back w me which is such bs and idk if I should text him to get answers or just leave it alone???
