I Don't know what to do.. I think I love him

I met this really nice, handsome Ethiopian😜 guy and we talked for 3 weeks, went on two dates, I was really started to fall for him. We made out ALOT! We just enjoyed each others company. But I got a text from him saying that I was so pretty, sweet, and had a great personality but he didn't wanna hurt me, and for me to get caught up in his "fucked up" world. I'm so lost and I don't understand. That was 2 weeks ago, and since then I can't stop thinking about him. I think I'm in Love with him! 😔😫😢
