Spotting after sex

My hubby n I had sex last night and I've been spotting all day now n I just ended my period last week. I never bleed after sex so this has me confused could I be having irregular periods or could it be from sex. The sex was ok I didn't get a wet at I normally do so it was kinda unconstitutional could I be spotting from being to dry to where my hubby could have rubbed me raw?? I'm not on birth control so it's not that making me irregular
