Catholic parents discovered my birth control and called me a murderer; Invasion of privacy
I am 19, sexually active, have irregular painful periods and acne that won't go away because it's hormonal. I started the pill because I want to be safe as well as ease my problems. The thing is, my mom NOT ONLY went though purse, but the zipper pouch that I use for tampons and found them. My parents confronted me as any parent would if they found say weed. They began to call me a murderer because bc is another form of abortion in the eyes of the church. I am Catholic but I do not believe everything they teach. I am hurt that my mom went through my personal belongings. This isn't the first time she has done this. She has gone through my other things in years past (reading my diary etc). Linking my emails to hers so that she receives all my emails, they could see my bank account, they had my Facebook passwords, opening my mail etc. When I turned 18 I closed my joint account with them and opened my own, found a way to unlink my email, changed passwords etc. And now this. I feel unwelcome and unaccepted in my own home because of my personal choices. I need support I have no friends currently
