What is the best time to take prenatals

I take mine before bed because they contain iron and I found that they made me horribly nauseous if I took them in the morning. At night though I always have food in my stomach so I think that's what helps.

At the moment they make me sick no matter when I take them, so my doctor has switched me to just folic acid as the pills are tiny and odorless. She said that's fine for this stage, she would rather me take that and keep it down than try the giant smelly prenatals and not get anything of it bc of vomiting.

I've found that most make me sick when I take them with an empty stomach, and I don't usually eat breakfast because that also makes me sick. I usually take mine right after eating my first meal which usually falls around eleven. But I don't think anytime is really better than another.
