I have nipple piercings, will ever have to remove them ? If I'm not breast feeding

I have mine done im 38 weeks and 2 days. Im not breastfeeding either . Mine hasn't bothered me at this pregnancy and i plan on having plastic rings with me for when i do go into labor that way i dont half to take them out !

Your body is going to change a LOT! My nipples are totally different and huge now. I can't imagine having piercings on them anymore. Are you not breastfeeding because of the nipple rings?

I wanted to keep mine in as long as I possibly could but my breast were the first thing that swelled up lol so by the time I was 10 weeks I had to take them out because I hurt so bad! I'm 30 weeks now and kinda miss them lol

I have mine done, along with other piercings and I was told that if you have to have a c section they will make you remove ALL of your metal jewelry. So be aware of that!
I plan on keeping my nips in until closer to my due date cause I really want to breastfeed but not deal with taking them in/out all the time. I'm 11+3 and so far they don't hurt or anything yet lol

How far are you? Once I got pregnant, my body immediately started to reject both of them. They were getting super infected no matter what I did. I tried keeping them for a long time but lost hope. I read an article that explained when a woman gets pregnant she gets a crazy increase in hormones and its not uncommon for the body to start rejecting piercings. I took them out by 14 weeks. 😭
