Anyone else spend the night at hospital for bp and 24 hr urine screen?

I had my routine OB appointment this afternoon, my blood pressure was elevated and for the first time, I had +2 protein in my urine. I was also dealing with a pretty awful headache for the past 2 days. So, doc sent me to the hospital to have my bp monitored and have a 24 hr urine screen for protein in my urine. (I had an ultrasound... baby is happy, healthy and measuring a bit big haha. Blood work came back normal, and my bp has been down since I've been here.) 
**Just curious who else has gone through this and what the outcome was, or what the possible outcomes could be. I'm obviously worried about preeclampsia, and just not sure about what's really going on. Any insight would be appreciated!! Thank you!

Happened to me as well. It was high enough they almost delivered me on the spot. However they did blood testing and once it came back ok I was allowed to monitor myself at home. My bp went down but spiked again at 37 weeks and I was induced.

I actually had to do the same with my first. It sucked. My Bp was normal all while I was there and my urine was normal too haha but around 35 weeks it spiked again and I had to be induced. It's good they wanna keep an eye out. I had I do the 24hr urine again at home a few weeks ago. It's crazy how fast preeclampsia comes on at times. Oh while I was in the hospital with my first they gave me steroids for the babies lungs just in case I had to delievers sooner and I do think it helped. She was perfect when she was born and has had no issues

I've been admitted 3x this pregnancy starting at 13 weeks for high blood pressure. Once I get to the hospital it seems to go down. My opinion is at home I have stress of running a house with a 9yo and a hubby who doesn't really help out much. At the hospital I can relax in a dark room with no worries. I am on bed rest for the duration of this pregnancy tho.
