My name is Kashia I am 28 we are 5weeks and 3days. I have been clean from heroin since November 29 an go to a methadone clinic. When we found out we was pregnant I told my fiancee I want to taper down an be of before I give birth. Its not fair to make my beautiful brand new baby go through withdraw because of my mistakes. I went in and told my counselor I'm pregnant and she told me I can not get off of it because I'm preg an if I go through any withdraw it could harm my unborn baby. I'm going to do it on my own I'm going to be ofdbmethdone before my baby is born. I'm of she thought she was man in me feel better but she said after 3-4 days the baby may get fussy an vomit have the poppies an not sleep. What part of that sounds okay?? I'm really upset I refuse to give birth an make my baby go through methadone withdraw.. :(
