Implantation Bleeding or just a period?

So my period was about 3 days late. But then it started and lasted about 4 days. I didn't have bad cramps like I usually do which was a little weird for me. And it was lighter than usual. Not super light like implantation bleeding would look like. So that's why I'm confused. I'm still having some brown spotting on my panty liner. And usually when my period stops, it just stops. No spotting. I've read that implantation could last 4 days and that that is not unusual. So could this be implantation bleeding? Or was it just my period and I'm getting my hopes up?
