Stabbing at top of belly?

I kee getting a stabbing feeling at the top of my belly. Kind of right where my breast bone ends. Anyone else have this?! Feels like a burning or stabbing feeling.

I've had this for weeks and weeks, and eventually figured out it was a nerve issue. It evolved into sometimes being numb or tingly, sometimes sharp needle-like pain, and sometimes stabbing. Mine gets worse later in the day and laying down ends up being the only comfortable position. I have back pain directly behind the stabbing pain that is in the front so it is from the same nerve that is irritated. My doctor told me to try a chirprator, but I've been hesitant to do that. The only thing that has helped me is getting in a swimming pool!

I am having the same type of stabbing pain. Mine hurts worse when my belly is touched/bumped- which happens a lot since I have a toddler running around. Today I also have felt extremely nauseous- which I haven't felt that for months now. I have a doc appt tomorrow and am planning on bringing it up- if I find out anything more I will let you know!

I had this and found out it was a gallbladder issue. I also had itchiness (that I chalked up to a normal pg symptom) and I had elevated bile acids. Was diagnosed w Cholestasis, put on meds, extra monitoring and will be induced bc of it. That's a rare situation, but it doesn't hurt to bring it up to your ob.
