When To Have Sex in a Relationship

I'm 24, still a virgin but I am contemplating going all the way with the guy I'm currently dating. We have only dated for about 4 months and I'm thinking I should wait for 6 months to get to know him a bit more. We have intimate time on our dates (we fool around and do orals), just not sex. Also, he has not told me he loves me but he says he wants to go all the way. Is 6 months too soon or too far for us? Or should I wait for him to tell me how he feels?

Honestly, since you've kept your virginity for this long why lose it to this guy so quickly? Especially if you'll aren't "in love". I have to say, sex means something TOTALLY different when you're with someone you love & the love goes both ways. Virginity is special, and if I could go back, I'd wait until I found my current boyfriend & lose it to him. He's the only person that I've dated & been actually in love with. We waited almost 6 months to have sex because we chose to fall in love with each others minds before our bodies. In doing so, I've never had such a raw, passionate connection with anyone else I've ever been intimate with like I have him. It's something else entirely. Only you know when is right for you, but definitely think & talk this through with your partner. It may not seem like a big deal, but once you have time to reflect back on it, it just might be.
