37 weeks and my baby girl is only 4lbs??

Question

I went to my doctor today and she told me my baby is in the 14th percentile. Anyone go through this?

My son is in the 12th. Not everyone will have big babies. And most of the time all that measuring stuff is wrong, usually off by 2 lbs. don't worry momma. I'm sure she is ok.

Went through that with my last. He wouldn't gain any more weight and stopped at 4lbs around 34 weeks..I was induced at 39 weeks and he was 4lb 1oz. Now he's a rambunctious 2 yo, healthy, doing great.

Measurements can be way off!  My son's was!  And anyway, a close friend of mine had her little girl come out full term at only 5.5 pounds and she is thriving and healthy and just a little petite but beautiful and perfect.

My baby is small as well. I have been having weekly us to check cord flow, fluid level and get her measurements. She has been gaining about 5oz a week so still gaining just small. She is also breech so makes it harder to get measurements sometimes. But everything else is on track, she is just a small baby. I am having a csection at 37 weeks bc she is breech and they are expecting her to be about 5lbs.

That's ok babies are not suppose to be super huge plus doctors are always off ,. Measurement is never 200% correct they are usually 1-3 under pounds wrong. My first baby they said was gunna be 8 pounds and she was 6p 2 ounces 😕. My recent he measured her and said she was close to nine pounds so he induced me a week early and she was 8 pounds. So this next baby I'm not going by what they say

My nephew was born at 4lbs 6oz at 36 weeks and only needed a little light to get rid of some jaundice. No worries!

I'm 35 weeks and baby boy is measuring 3 lbs 8oz...8th percentile. Have you had any extra scans or testing? We're waiting for our appt next wed. To see what dr says.

I did my hospital tour today and in the nursery was a little girl who was born at 37 weeks and weighed 3.6 lbs. They said she was healthy, just small.
