Terrified following diagnosis of stage II TTTS
This morning we attended our 17w growth US, only to be told by concerned consultants that my twins are at stage II TTTS & we would be seen by a specialist hospital in London (100miles away) tomorrow morning.
The consultant was so vague about his explanation of what to expect, but warned treatment is via laser to separate the placenta which may result in miscarriage of both babies.
I left the hospital in tears and so unaware of what to expect, of how to feel.
I have a little knowledge on TTTS and coupled with the consultants vague explanation all I can do is panic and fear the worst. This is my first pregnancy and I am terrified I may lose one if not both of my babies.
Have any mums been through a similar diagnosis/procedure who can offer me any advice and guidance. I just feel so lost right now 😔😔
