Uterine infection 5 days postpartum
So this morning I wake up with my newborn and my lower abdomen hurts like crazy... I think nothing of it at first. After an hour the pain gets to the point I can't move, stand or barely walk.. I called my ob. Well I go in for an exam and find out I have an infection of my poor uterus. The midwife says I've been over doing myself at home (I have a toddler as well as the newborn) and it's caused my uterus to get inflamed and get an infection! On top of that I got a hemorrhoid.
Ladies, if you have other children at home with a newborn, ask for help with housework and children. I'm learning this the hard way. I thought being a mom of now 4 I could just pick up where I left off before delivery, yeah not so much. The sad part is my hubby can't get time off work and we have no family here to help us, so now I have to be kinda lazy while he works and wait for him to get home to help me with housework 😞
