Is it bad to get a tattoo while possibly pregnant Iv been having a lot of signs of pregnancy Iv been trying for 3 weeks and I'm getting a tattoo on Saturday if I am pregnant would that hurt the baby in anyway??

Also, most reputable tattoo shops will not tattoo a pregnant person. If you knowingly get a tattoo and think you are pregnant you're putting the license of that shop at risk too.  It's just a really dumb idea.

Yes it could. No piercings or tattoos while pregnant. I would wait until you know for sure. Tattoos are an open wound and ink is injected into the deepest layers of skin making you and your baby susceptible to blood born illness and infection.

I got a tattoo while not knowing I was pregnant and out of all 14, it was the most painful one. Also, I broke out with an infection around the entire tattoo (entire calf piece) and it took forever to heal and didn't heal properly either. A few days later is when I found out I was pregnant

Don't do it, I have over twenty tattoos and actually found out I was pregnant due to irritation of the last tattoo I had. I ended up being a month and a half pregnant the tattoo was really uncomfortable( I can take pain) and it didn't heal successfully. Just wait, you'll have time to get one after the baby!!!

If you might be I would advise against it just because the cons completly outweigh the pros, this doesn't go for everyone but if by chance you have a bad reaction, unsuccessful healing, infection, or something go wrong with the pregnancy because of it, you put yourself at risk health wise, you are losing out on money on a tattoo that could have healed perfectly but might have to get redone, and any reputable tattoo shop that goes by the guidelines will not tattoo a pregnant person, it has been in every waiver I've signed when getting a tattoo. They don't put that there to discriminate against pregnant women they put that in there just like they they say to not get tattooed if you are under the influence or any kind of drug or alchoal, and tell you to refrain from taking any kind of medication to relieve the pain in the moment, not because they want to discriminate but because there are risks that run when these situations arise. You are initially putting an artistic scar on your body filled with ink, any kind of scar is trauma to the skin and it takes alot of energy and care to heal properly, there aren't enough studies to say whether or not the ink itself actually hurts the pregnancy but in the end, you might be better off just waiting it out that way you know for a fact you won't have any kind of complications... it'd be a shitty experience to pay money for something that's going to remain on your body forever only for it to not turn out the way you planned.
