Should I get a changing table? My boyfriend doesn't think we shouls, but we have two dogs and I think it would be better for us to get one, but I'm not 100% sure.

Changing tables are the most useless pieces of specialty furniture out there. Everyone I know just use their bed and a mat.

I getting a changing pad (20$) and putting it on the babies dresser. It's a small room and I know I won't use it often so I'm not adding more crap in there or buying stuff I don't need to waist money on! But I really think it's a personal preference! I work at an in home daycare with my mother in law and we use ours 24/7 at work, I just don't feel it's necessary at home.

It does come in really handy for the first year. You will find yourself using it a lot because it's hard to juggle multiple items while changing a baby. Once the baby gets to be over 1 year, you start to just change anywhere you can throw down a towel or blanket. Lol. We still use the changing table in certain situations for our 2 year old, but she's getting a bit too big for it now. It's just nice to have the option!

I bought a changing pad and maybe used it.... 5 times? lol. It was just so much easier to throw a blanket on the bed or sofa and change baby. (I had a huge and curious German Shepard sniffing baby out a few times during changes too lol)

We put a changing pad on top his dresser but mainly just the grandparents use it. We usually change him on the floor on top of a changing pad from our diaper caddy. Our hound dog is older and doesn't bother us.

That is the one thing I wished I had bought for dd. Getting up and down off the floors while wrangling a limp little baby with a dirty diaper so my dog wouldnt snatch it, got really old quick!!! I'm buying on for this baby but I'm hoping to score a 2 hand one or I will purchase a brand new one but cheap! I don't want a dresser style one, just basic table with a shelf for diapers

If you'll think you'll use it. I know I won't end up using one. And I have two giant dogs and a little one. Sounds like a waste of money and space to me. I'll change him wherever I find a spot or is convenient lol. Up to you!

I used my changing table ONE time and realized I hated it.....biggest waste of money ever.  I changed baby wherever we were... Floor, bed, couch....
