Mucus plus or discharge...

No worries, no pictures. But I'm having trouble telling the difference. This morning when I wiped, I noticed like a clear yellowish mucus type discharge on the toilet paper and then just a little big ago, I wiped again but this time it was more mucuosy, kind of like see through. It's only when I wipe and it's only happened twice. Could this be parts of my plug or just discharge as I am on Macrobid for a UTI.
