Am I being paranoid?

So recently whenever my boyfriend comes over we always end up having sex, we use condoms, and I was supposed to start my period today but nothing. Am I just paranoid because I have my first appointment with a lady doctor in a month for birth control and my mom thinks Ive only had sex once or do I have a good reason to be worried about being pregnant? My body is reacting the same way it always does before my period but I'm rarely late
