Announcing pregnancy?

Question

When is everyone planning on starting to tell family that you're pregnant? I'm not planning on making it public for a while, but trying to figure out when to start telling our close family

I am considering announcing to immediate family on mother's day. I should be about 8 weeks then. I think it would make the holiday extra special for everyone. I won't be announcing to friends and general public until the 2nd tri.

I got my digital positive on Tuesday. And we agreed to wait to tell our parents until our first ultrasound in 2 weeks. We told them right away last time and it ended in a MC. Well my husband was so excited and drinking and told his mom. Now I feel like I need to tell my parents because I am so close to them and feel guilty that they don't know yet! I will tell them soon. And everyone else will wait until at least 12 weeks. I administer chemotherapy at work and when pregnant I cannot do that so my job will know right away too.

We told our close family the day we found out. We have been trying for 3 years and had one miscarriage Dec 2014 and didn't tell anyone until after the miscarriage. So we figured what is going to happen is going to happen and we would share the news either way since we are close to our family. This time I'm further along and have symptoms so I ended up telling my work and coworkers to have support there. For us this time telling our family has created womderful support and encouragement. We won't tell facebook or friends until 10 weeks I think. I also got my hcg levels monitored for reassurance that the baby is growing. So it makes me more comfortable to share too. I say do what you want to do and what makes you comfortable.

I haven't decided yet. My mom is so close to me but I haven't told her yet. I'm excited to share the news but thinking of holding off for at least a few more weeks

I am 6 weeks 4 days and we told our parents and siblings but will wait to tell anyone else for another month.  We are also waiting to tell our other kids who are 8 and 6.... I want to protect their little hearts but can hardly wait to tell them ♡♡♡

I'm waiting till 2nd trimester. We only told my son(he's 14 and knew something was off with me). My dear husband however told his mom yesterday! I'm hoping he can hold off and not tell anyone else. ☺

I'm gonna wait till about 12 weeks to tell family members and friends because I had a miscarriage last year around 6 week.  But SO already knows and so does my mom.
