I've been meaning to ask my doctor...

If I'm at home (or wherever), keep in mind I'm easily and hour and a half away from my doctor, and my water breaks, does that mean head straight to the doctor? Or should I wait for contractions? She told me to head in when contractions were 5-7 minutes apart. She didn't mention anything about my water braking,
