First time mom here! I plan on breastfeeding and the hospital I am delivering at does not provide any nipple cream. I would like to buy some to take with me. Opinions?

I'm using medela lanolin cream right now in the hospital. It is working great and baby isn't affected by it. I would suggest the lanolin cream!

I will be using unrefined organic coconut oil. Very easy for baby to digest and smells fabulous too ☺

I actually used all 3 of these lol. I used the non lanolin ones first then would put a coating of lanolin on top as a barrier. That system worked the best for me. Also once your milk comes in breast milk and then let air dry feels great too.

I originally bought bamboobies which is olive oil based (as is the earth mama I believe) and my LO refused to eat after I used it. Lanolin and airing them out have worked much better for me

BE CAREFUL I DIDNT KNOW BUT THAT STUFF ACTUALKY STAINS YOUR SHIRTS. I ruined probably 6 of my shirts from that stuff 😒

I hated the lanolin. Too sticky and hard to clean off your hands. Didn't care for earth mama either. It had chunks that hurt as I spread it in sensitive nipples. I ended up going with coconut oil. Worked great!

Definitely earth mama. Or coconut oil. Also your breastmilk. Breastmilk has been the best for me along with coconut oil. A lot of people are allergic to lanolin and my son would never nurse if he smelled it. It also broke his mouth out if there was residue on my breast.
