Did We Choose a Bad Name?

Question

We chose Orion Lee for our little boy. 
My boyfriend suggested Orion and Lee runs in my family. At first, I didn't really like Orion but it's my boyfriends favorite constellation and when he brought it up, his face lit up and he seemed so happy and content with it. It made me love the name. So I agreed. 
But everyone keeps telling me they dislike it, and when I'm asked the name I get a disapproval sigh and I don't know how to react. Is it that bad of a name?

We chose Orion Henry for our son before we even knew what he was and I've gotten nothing but positive responses. It's funny though because Lee also runs in my husband's family, however I wasn't about to curse my child with that as a middle name (long story)

My mom did this with my son, Declan. She said you know he has to live with that name right? So I named him Declan because it's the name we fell in love with. Pick the name you both love. If that's Orion then use it no matter what anyone thinks. When he's here, you won't be able to picture him with another name.

If you love the name you picked don't let anybody else try to get you to change it. I love unique names. I remember when I was pregnant with my son and we announced his name how much crap we got from people for one reason or another but we didn't listen to them. I just started telling people if they liked whatever name they're suggesting so much why didn't they name their kid that or why not have their own kid and name them that. This is your baby and you get to name him something you like and enjoy. Unfortunately until you put them in their place/make a stand on your chosen name they won't stop. (We named home Gracian Levi.)

You can call your baby however you want to its not about what the others say/think.

My first born name is Orion William, after the constellation as well. I have never had anyone mention that they don't like the name; if anything it gets an insane amount of compliments. If you do choose it, just be aware that you will have to spell his name for everything, and people will either first call him "ryan" or "or-ee-on".
