Anyone else's baby have calcium build up on heart?

Kelsey • Kelsey. Married. 20. Gave birth to my first child July 3, 2016

So I went for my 3D ultrasound Wednesday and they did a very in depth ultrasound to check baby's organs and everything came back good except there was a bright spot on her heart which indicates a calcium build up. The doctor said that can be a sign of down syndrome so I needed to get the genetic screening done (i didn't get it done when originally offered because of the high false positive rate) anyway I obviously broke down and started crying uncontrollably thinking something was going to be wrong with my baby. The nurse made the doctor come back in to explain himself a little better and then I learn the logical side of it which is a person at my age (20) had a 1 in 2000 chance of having a baby with down syndrome and the calcium puts my risk at 1 in 1000. So there's a 99.99% chance my baby girl is completely fine. I would still love her regardless but no first time mom wants told their baby my have down syndrome. And it really pissed me off the way he went about telling me. And he didn't even say it was a bright spot that indicated calcium I figured that out on the internet on my own. I will NOT be going back to that doctor.

But my reason for posting is I would like to hear from people who have experienced or know someone who had this same experience. And how their baby turned out. TIA!
