Micro preemie

Well baby Maximus made his appearance on Wednesday April 13 via c-section.  I was admitted to the hospital on Monday due to him having fetal growth restrictions cause the placenta was not supplying adequate nutrients and blood flow.  I was 26 weeks but he was only measuring 22 weeks.  He wieghs 1lb 3oz and is 10.25 inches long.  He is doing very well for being so little.  They removed the ventilator and he is on a cpap which is great! His jaundice levels are normal after only a day under the light, he's going to the bathroom normal and they are feeding him breastmilk through a feeding tube.  I am so amazed at how strong my little boy is.  All I ask is for positive vibes and thoughts be sent his way.
