Anyone ever had a negative blood pregnancy test and it be wrong?

Has anyone ever had a blood pregnancy test come back negative but actually turn out to be pregnant? If so how far on was you when you had the negative blood test and how far on was you when you found out you was actually pregnant? 
8 days late for this month and only spotting last month. Loads of symptoms yet all tests including blood negative.
Anyone else experienced this? X

Hi, I am on the same boat currently. Missed period by 5 days, loads of pregnancy sings which I know can be placebo, although I'm still in enoal that I am pregnant. Taken cheap pregnancy strips every morning since day 1 of missed period, all negative. Had a blood test taken at doctors 2 days ago so on day 3 of missed period and it's come back negative. I am almost certain I am pregnant as I track my fertility and ovulated 2 weeks ago, had all ovulation songs and cervical fluid consistency. Have been like clock work for over a year and never missed a period. It may just be too early to tell as everyone's Hcg levels can vary. Have ordered a clear blue early detection test so will use that in a few days, aiming for a week late period and will let you know :)
