I've been off birth control for about 5 years now and am just going back on it. My gyn told me to start the Sunday after my period, as usual, but my periods are irregular. I'm going on 37 days now between cycles and didn't want to wait any longer to start the pill. What I'm wondering is if it will stop my period from coming this month or if I will have spotting? Tomorrow will be the 3rd day on it and no sign of my period yet! Any experience I've had in the past of trying to skip my period for the month ended horribly and I had spotting for the entire month! Anyone have any experience with this?
