Bleeding

So I am 6 weeks from my LMP, and yesterday I had very very minimal spotting. Today I had some on and off and at about 530 this evening it got heavier so I got upset, and like 20 minutes later it was gone and it hasn't been back since (about an hour and a half). No cramping at all. Yesterday since I was spotting I got levels done and compared to my levels on Thursday (2700) they way more then doubled yesterday (13,000). So now I'm very confused. Why the heavy bleeding for a short time if my levels are going up? Someone help me please 😖
