Does anyone know any alternatives to this shot? I'm terrified of needles in general and my mom is forcing me to get this shot before I go to college even though I don't want it. Anyone know alternatives?

Get the shot.. Don't look for other options, it'll help protect you from cervical cancer

Always using a condom. Honestly, it prevents all the cancer causing types of HPV, so it really is worth it. Any time I have to do something I don't want to do, I plan to treat myself afterwards. Find something that's good incentive and see if your mom will "bribe" you in to doing it.
