Found twin later?

Question

Any of you ladies have your first ultrasound and only see one? And then found out later that you are having 2? My 8 week ultrasound shows one baby, which is a blessing but today with my Doppler I heard my own and two other heartbeats, the same one I've heard every other time and now a vastly different one. And now 
 'm freaking out and seeing a second yolk sac in my first ultrasound.....

I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks with one baby but at my 10 weeks ultrasound, we found two heartbeats. Good luck! Twins is such a blessing :)

My 2 ultrasounds before showed one baby. During my 12th week ultrasound, doctor found that im having twins! We were shocked but very thrilled & so happy! Now 26 weeks with identical girls👧💕👧

Happened to me. At the 9 week transvaginal just one visible (but a super strong heart beat, one was hiding under the other). At the 11 week appointment, doc missed it again using Doppler after we heard one heartbeat (she just stopped looking after hearing one). At the 12 week genetic scan, bam, two healthy babies. I'm 22 weeks with boy/girl twins. I've never been pregnant before till now, but my hyper emesis was horrible and I kept losing weight. If you think there are two, and you don't have another appointment for a while, I would make one soon and ask for another ultrasound. The calories and protein you need for two are much more than one. I had to really kick it into gear in terms of nutrition. Good luck.

Happend to me, went in at 5 weeks told me it was one baby went back at 10 weeks and there it was my biggest blessings and now my baby boys are 1 year old ❤

The odds are more than likely you are only having a single baby and that they would have seen something at the 8 week ultra sound. Although it's not impossible to have missed one it it's not likely. Watch some youtube clips on home dopplers to help you distinguish between you, baby, and the blood flow to the placenta which also makes a similar sound.

I thought the same thing but I thought I was having 3 cuz I knew I was having twins but heard a third heart beat. Ended up being blood flow :)

I don't get another ultrasound until 20 weeks :/ I don't want to wait that long to find out if there is another baby....
