Same sex couples

Hi all, just wondering if there are any same sex couples out there going through the same thing as me? My partner is 4+5 weeks and had started with mild pregnancy symptoms, the thing is I just feel like I'm missing out on something? I try to ask her how she's feeling so I can get an idea of what she's going through but her response every time is 'I'm fine'!!! Just wonder how you deal with not being able to be the one who is pregnant? I have ovulation problems and it's looking like I might not be able to have children which is something I've always wanted to do hence why my parter is going through this amazing journey?
