Twins- No HB yet?

Question

I went through IVF and had my first scan today. I am 5 weeks 6 days pregnant with twins, but neither had a heartbeat... I'm totally freaked out- I had a MC last year where there was a heartbeat at 5 weeks 3 days... Has anyone else had the same experience with a happy outcome?

I went through a frozen embryo transfer and my doc wouldn't even do an ultrasound until 7 weeks for this reason.. Said it caused a lot of unnesssry worry, By 7 weeks we had two clear heartbeats... Try not to panic too much! Good luck!

One of mine didn't have a heart beat at 6 weeks and we went back and it had one. It's healthy so far.

My baby didn't have a heart beat at 5w4 days and the doctor said it is just still very early. I go back next week when I'll be 7 weeks to see if we can hear or see anything.

Also I know of a mom who had twins and baby b had a heart beat but baby a didn't at around 5 weeks. Both are doing great now and are almost 2 years old!! Try not to panic and try your best to stay calm for those babies.

I know it's so hard but plenty of moms have not heard HB that early on only to go back in 2 weeks and hear 1. (Or two!) Sometimes all they see is a sac at this point, not a baby.  Thinking good thoughts for you!!
